The Mets came out of the gate looking like a team with a mission on Friday, June 8ths game at the Detroit Tigers.  Jorge Sosa, leading the team to a 3-0 shutout against the leagues highest scoring team. Very impressive! Unfortunaltly, this did not last long as the Mets pitching staff went on to reach new heights, in terms of ERA.
